I know I havenapos;t posted in donkeyapos;s years. (Fair warning: this isnapos;t going to be the one that restores your faith in my LJ readworthiness.)

Iapos;ve come down with whatever nasty strain of cold has besieged Bex for the better part of this past week... Itapos;s fairly miserable, true, but as nothing compared to the real problem Iapos;ve been facing today...

Iapos;ve been hiccoughing on and off since about 11am this morning. (Yes, ten hours and counting.) Driven well past the bounds of rational thought, I am ashamed to admit Iapos;ve even tried a few of those apos;folk curesapos; that my nana once endorsed. Yep, they work as well as they ever did.

The cats donapos;t know what to make of it and have been giving me dirty looks all afternoon. Somehow the weird noise I keep making every five to ten seconds isnapos;t quite enough to send them scampering from the room, however...

Iapos;m so bloody sick of this I could scream -- except that I canapos;t quite catch my breath long enough to belt out a solid yawp.

(p.s.: I warned you it was unimportant. Serves you right for reading one of my entries. Bet you wonapos;t make that mistake again.)

I have a midterm in my ap lab tomorrow (kill me) a japanese quiz wed and a chem test wed. Blahhh and possibly a religion essay on thursday but Iapos;m not so worried about that. Iapos;ve done pretty good so far (an A and a B+)

blahh I just wish we had a longer break.. Techniquely we had one day that sucks. I have about five minutes before I need to get up and go to class.. Though I may go earlier so I can use the restroom before class... Then I go home and study my butt off..

dunno If I talked about saturday but i went with a friend to dallas (wes wanted to come but had to work a double :( )) We went to the King tut exhibit (sorely lacking any mummies but charged an arm and a leg) then went Ice skating I only fell once and that was when I was trying to go fast lol then walked around the mall. Got lunch at a really sweet seafood place. Oh I went to the dallas aquarium in west end. Uh.. Then went and did lazer tag first time was really fun though wore me out. Played a few video games then went home and crashed.

Yesterday I studied a lot, then wes and matt and I went to frisco and went to an irish pup where I ate corned beef and cabbage yummy matt came by the house to hang out.. I felt bad because I was sooo tired that I went to bed shortly after we got there.

My dad surprised me and actually ordered a PediPaws dremel for me and I got it in the mail today. I asked him to do it as they donapos;t ship internationally. Canapos;t wait to try it, need to get batteries. Today Rain gets a bath; on the 20th heapos;ll get groomed by my friend Gunilla, since my clippers broke and we canapos;t afford new ones (Oster A5 Gold runs 1500 SEK which is over $300 US) at the moment. So itapos;s cheaper to get my friend Gunilla to groom him for me (and nice to have someone else do it for a change). Canapos;t wait until heapos;s freshly groomed... Heapos;s really fuzzy lol

Vicky has another cold. Now that the cold/flu season is upon us I expect it to be the rule and when sheapos;s well thatapos;ll be an exception. We are all in line next, of course. I�expect Andrew to be next, if heapos;s not already showing some symptoms.

Last night was tough. :Andrew did not let me sleep. He nursed non-stop from about 10 PM to 3�AM or so. I am not kidding, the kid was permanately atteched to my boobs, I just kept rolling over from side to side. I donapos;t remember him EVER nursint like this at night. It reminds me of his cluster feedings in the early days when heapos;d nurse pretty much non-stop for 5-6 hrs, but that was in the evening. Finally early morning he slowed down some and gave me maybe 1 hr. Stretches of sleep. Not that it mattered because Vicky did not let John both of us sleep. She was waking up constantly, was congested and sneezing up a storm. At 5 AM�I told John I wanted to change Andrewapos;s diaper because I was afraid itapos;d leak after all that nursing. No later than I said it I felt that his PJs were wet. I caught it just in time though and the sheets were still dry. We got up and John helped to change him quickly and then I put him back to sleep. Finally I think at about 6 AM�John and Vicky went to my parents room to finish napping and to watch cartoons and Andrew and I "slept in"�till almost 8 AM How glorious. Even though I�barely slept all night, those last two hours were sooooooooooo nice, despite nursing Andrew a few times through it anyway.

Today weapos;ll be staying in and resting. John is taking a nap now and Iapos;ll try to nap later.

Hereapos;s something to think about.

In life people are always trying to get through there past and when they pass it by,� all their worried about is getting to the future, rarely do people ever stop and live in the moment.

The problem with this is that if everyone lives in a hurry to get to the next point in there life they never stop to just soak up the beauty that the world has to offer them, they never stop to simply experience all the good life beholds and they donapos;t understand that its just waiting for them to engulf themselves in it. If they would just stop and look around they would see it, they would see what i see, they would be able to see past all the bad and all the hate they would be able to indulge because they would have looked abroad and saw what a amazing and precious thing there life is. I believe that most people would be disappointed if they got towards the end of their life and came to the conclusion that all there life consisted of� was nothing but rush and they would realized that they never really got the chance to live, they would realized that if they just spend a bit of time to live they wouldnapos;t have to wish they did things differently they wouldnapos;t have to regret the way they lived their lives.

So take time, become aware of your surroundings, take notice to detail, and think deeply into important issues.
Donapos;t waste your life away rushing,
Waste your life away understanding, indulging and enjoying.�

Bottom line
life was meant to be enjoyed, not passed by.

Well, it could be worse. I could have had a squeaky voice. Lol.

This observation was made by an acquaintance. Probably because I was singing Aruiteru during the project meeting. Donapos;t ask me why I was singing, I was bored lol. And I started singing Namida ga Tomaranai Houkago Eri-style, so the feminine-ness canapos;t be helped. >_>

My head hurts. I need to sleep more, but I keep getting weird dreams. Sigh.
